ADMU GRADUATE TOPS LICENSURE EXAM FOR CHEMISTS

A GRADUATE of the Ateneo de Manila University topped the Chemist Licensure Examination given this month by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Mac Ivan Dominic Capiton Fang led the successful examinees with a rating of 87.50 percent.

Rafael Kyle Basuel Bitangcor of Adamson University came in second with 86.75 percent, followed by Cherrylene Manalo Bolante of University of the Philippines-Los Baños with 85.85.

Levent Bless Bonifacio Aquino of Mapua University placed fourth with 85.15 and Clint Allen Margallo Reyes of Notre Dame of Marbel University ranked fifth with 89.65.

They were followed by Javen Lloyd Algodon Oira of Mindanao University of Science and Technology-CDO (84.95); Jasper Jory Marcos Eugenio of UPLB (84.80); and Jerwin Collado Quirante of UPLB (84.25).

Completing the top 10 list are Victoria Agatha Balbieran Bermudez from UP Manila (83.15); Adrian Josiah Tan Cheng of UPM (83.15); and Jhenica Jade Te Tan of UPM (82.95).

The PRC said that 134 out of 369 passed the examination held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, San Fernando, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.

UPLB posted 100 percent passing rate, while UPM and ADMU had 92.31 and 87.60 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, 1,074 out of 1,332 also passed the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination.

Adamson University, UPLB, and Mindanao State University-Marawi City emerged as the top performing schools with 100 percent passing rate.
