/ 22 November 2023

ADAMSON University’s short film was hailed as first runner-up in the recent Third IP Academy CIRCLE League: The Story of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) last November 17 at the IPOPHL Multipurpose Hall, Taguig City.

The university won the award among the nine short films produced by seven universities nationwide during the “Festival of Stories” and Awarding Ceremony of the competition.

The film ‘Ikaw Bahala’ was created by the students of Industrial Engineering with the guidance of their coach Felvic Fresco from the Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) – AdU Technology Transfer Office (AdUTX).

“Joining such competition is an initiative of AdUTX to foster creativity, innovation, and the protection of intellectual property in the realm of filmmaking,” the university said.

Adamson hopes that the whole community will continue supporting their entry by watching, reacting, and sharing the video as the garnered reactions contribute to the selection of the Viewer’s Choice Award.
