ADAMSON University officially announced Fr. Daniel ‘Danny’ Franklin Pilario, CM as the seventh university president last Wednesday, December 13, at the Co Po Ty Audio Visual Hall.

University President Fr. Pilario succeeded the leadership from former university President Rev. Fr. Marcelo Manimtim, CM.

In his acceptance speech, the president said that his term would focus on Adamson’s technical education and the Vincentians’ humanities tradition.

Fr. Pilario also stressed the essence of a deeper connection between the administration and the whole community so that they can expect and look forward to the future of the students with enough courage.

“For those who are with us at present, we show our care, to care deeply […] For our common future, I challenge you to dare, to dare bravely,” the president said.

He also expressed his gratitude to the community including the former presidents, the officers, and those who are involved in making the university what it is in the present by making it reach the fifth place in Quacquarelli Symonds ranking.

“All the efforts that you have exerted, the structures you have created, the processes that you have labored to put in place — all these have brought us to where we are now — number five among the leading HEIs (Higher Education Institutions) in the Philippines,” he said.

Fr. Danny Pilario is the fifth Filipino-Vincentian President of the Adamson University.
