ADAMSON UNIVERSITY TO ALLOW F2F CLASSES FOR P.E.

/ 30 July 2022

ADAMSON University will allow face-to-face classes for those taking Physical Education and internships for hybrid-flexible learning modality for the first semester of Academic Year 2022-2023.

A memorandum issued by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Catherine Q. Castañeda added two supplemental guidelines in the HyFlex learning modality.

The P.E. department will be given “appropriate autonomy” in selecting what mode of learning will be “most appropriate and relatively safest.”

Those in on-the-job training or collecting data for a thesis or dissertation will have the same autonomy, subject to institutional policies and requirements.

Classes in the first two weeks of the academic year, or from August 16 to 28, will be conducted online in preparation for the HyFlex modality.

College courses will be conducted on HyFlex mode for the entire first semester.

Classes will automatically revert to synchronous online learning in case of a Covid19 surge.
