THE ADAMSON University has confirmed the passing of one of its students who was earlier reported missing.

In a statement Tuesday, the university said that it is investigating the matter in cooperation with the authorities.

The AdU Student Government initially reported that Engineering student John Matthew “Matt” Salilig has been missing since February 18.

He was last seen in Manila wearing his AdU unifom boarding a bus.

The university appealed to the public to respect the Salilig’s family privacy and refrain from sharing unverified information.

“Let us rise together through this as one Adamson community in a prayer, hoping fervently that we may all have strength in the wake of this tragic situation,” the university said.
