The BS in Nursing of Bayambang campus passed the Level III Phase 1 evaluation. Also accredited were Urdaneta campus’ BS in Computer Engineering, BS in Electrical Engineering Level II and BS in Architecture.
“Accreditation is crucial to any Higher Education Institutions as the recognition from an accrediting agency ensures a certain level of educational standards,” PSU said.
“Through the adroit leadership of University President Dr. Dexter Buted and Vice President for Quality Assurance Dr. Elbert Galas, with the arsenal of competent University and Campus officials, PSU in its quest for excellence and quality education has once again triumphed,” it added.
Organized in 1987, AACCUP’s main function is the accreditation of curricular programs in the Philippines, particularly in state universities and colleges.
The group gives accreditation to an institution that maintains a certain level of educational standards.
PSU said that the accreditation of its programs attested to its vision and mission to become one of the premier state universities in ASEAN.
