AACCUP HOLDS VIRTUAL SURVEY FOR PSU ACCREDITATION
THE Accredited Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines conducted its virtual survey of the programs of the Pangasinan State University.
The Bachelor of Science in Fisheries program at the Binmaley Campus underwent its fourth survey, while Phase 2 of the third survey of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Urdaneta City Campus was conducted.
Dr. Boyet Batang of the Isabela State University, the overall organizer of the virtual survey, praised PSU students for embracing accreditation in their pursuit of academic success.“We are not here to find faults or pin down programs, we are here as partners adhering to quality in excellence in quality assurance. This is time-consuming, tedious and painful but with our goal for quality education, we are all here for quality and excellence,” Batang said.
University President Dr. Elbert Galas, who was represented by Vice President Razeale Resultay, thanked the accreditors for sharing their time and expertise to help PSU achieve greater heights.
“The task ahead is daunting but institutions have to keep abreast with the demands of the education community and we know that accreditations aim to see how much the university has developed through its compliance with standards and excellence,” Galas said.
