THE ZAMBOANGA Peninsula Polytechnic State University said that 91.41 percent of its employees have been vaccinated against Covid19.

The ZPPSU Medical-Dental Health Services reported that 511 of its 559 employees already received jabs and are now protected against the adverse effects of the virus.

It added that the inoculation will help the university achieve herd immunity.

The office also advised the public to get vaccinated to help fight Covid19.

“Getting ourselves vaccinated is one of the best decisions we have ever made during this Covid-19 Pandemic!” it said on Facebook.

“Let us all continue to follow the standard health protocols and help one another in this fight against Covid-19!” it added.

The Department of Health reported 33,169 new Covid19 cases on Monday, bringing the national total to almost 3 million cases.
