SIYAM na miyembro ng Jesuit Residence community sa Ateneo de Manila University campus sa Loyola Heights, Quezon City  ang nagpositibo sa Covid19 nitong Miyerkoles, Marso 31.

Mas pinaigting ng pamantasan ang safety protocol, partikular sa loob ng residence.

Nakakuwarentena na ang mga nagpositibo at patuloy na tinutulungan ng pamunuan, at rumorolyo na rin ang contact tracing.

“Nine members of the Jesuit Residence community tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. Strict protocols, which include isolation and quarantine, are currently in place and being implemented at the residence. Contact tracing is also being done,” ayon sa unibersidad.

Hindi pinangalanan ang mga pasyente at nakikiusap ang Ateneo na ipanalangin ang mga apektado ng pandemya.

“We request everyone to respect the individuals’ wish for privacy. We continue to call on everyone to pray for the infected for their speedy recovery, for the safety of those living inside the university campus and to grant all of us the strength, courage, and perfect trust in the Lord to see these challenges through,” mensahe nila.
