6 UP VISAYAS STUDENTS JOIN LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

/ 25 May 2022

SIX students of the University of the Philippines-Visayas will participate in the 2022 Ayala Young Leaders Congress, a student leadership summit designed to nurture values-based and principled future leaders.

The selected students were Gabe John Armosada (BS Accountancy), John Dyrick Dormis (BSBA Marketing), Rica Dana Ingeniero (BS Management), Charlotte Dexanne Managuit (BS Accountancy), Stewart E. Laging (BA Political Science), and Margaret Mary de Asis (BA Psychology).

The leadership summit by the Ayala Foundation Inc. brings together 80 of the most promising college and university student leaders.

Of the 460 online applications, 80 were selected after a rigorous screening.

The qualified students will participate in a 5-week leadership congress with synchronous learning experiences on five consecutive Saturdays and asynchronous learning experiences during selected days of the weeks in between.

The Congress features outstanding Filipino leaders who share their journeys and leadership perspectives with the participants.

Interactive workshops and outdoor activities provide opportunities for participants to grow in self-awareness, achieve greater clarity about their passions and advocacies, gain a deeper understanding and insight into their leadership concerns and issues, and identify the application of their learning.

A post-congress program, managed by the AYLC Secretariat and the Ayala Young Leaders Alumni Association, Inc., will provide the alumni with learning and service opportunities.
