50 KSU STUDENTS RECEIVE P25K CASH AID

MANILA — A total of 50 students from Kalinga State University have received cash aid of P25,000, to help them finance their education.

The amount was sourced from the Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition of the Commission on Higher Education,

“The SMART grantees will not only lighten their financial burden but instead it is a valuable stepping stone for them to reach their goals and continuously pursue their dreams to make them come true,” KSU said on Facebook.

The checks were handed to the students on January 24, 2024, at the Amphitheatre of the KSU Bulanao campus.

The SMART grant is a one-time grant to qualified students who are enrolled in undergraduate programs for the academic year 2023-2024.

The program’s funding is sourced from the Higher Education Development Fund.
