5 CEU STUDENTS FINISH INT’L LEARNING PROGRAM
FIVE Centro Escolar University students completed and garnered outstanding scores in the 2020 Collaborative Online International Learning joint program of the University Mobility in Asia and Pacific.
PJ Sheed Olea from the School of Accountancy and Management and Joshua Flores from the School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music and Social Work both earned 100 points.
Political Science major Alondra Sto. Domingo and Adrian Rafael Limpin from the School of Medical Technology scored 98 points, while nursing student Catherine Brioso garnered 96 points.
The university said that through the program “CEU students are given the opportunity to not simply join but also excel in holistic education, fostering an international mindset, preparing them for the modern and globalized world we all live in.”
The UMAP-COIL joint program for 2020 was conducted online with student participants from all around the world.
The program included an examination of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which includes no poverty, zero hunger, and quality education.
In three months, the students completed the required number of 63 to 66 hours of pre-program workshops, lecture series, a two-week project, a final presentation, and post-program workshops.
Those who completed the program were given certificates signed by Mr. Takao Fujita, the director of the Kansai University–Institute for Innovative Global Education.
