404 INDIVIDUALS BENEFIT FROM IFSU’S EYE CENTER
THE EYE Center established by the Ifugao State University has benefited 404 individuals who underwent various procedures.
The eye center located in the ISU’s Potia campus does general eye check-up, funduscopy, cataract extraction, refraction, removal of foreign body, yag capsulotomy, and yag laser iridotomy.
Surgeries like cataract extractions, pterygium excisions, repair of laceration, and yag capsulotomy are also available at the center.
The university said that most patients come from the provinces of Ifugao, Isabela and Mountain Province.
It said that the public can join the eye screening program on Wednesday, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Those in need of an eye operation were asked to coordinate with the Department of Social Welfare and Development to help with their expenses for the procedure.
