4 VIE FOR ISPSC PRESIDENCY

/ 3 February 2024

FOUR people will battle it out to become the next president of the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, as the school gears for a new administration.

The four candidates are Commission on Higher Education Program Specialist Chief, Dr. Danilo Bose; Pangasinan State University Vice President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Dexter Buted; ISPSC College of Business Education Dean, Dr. Nora Soliven; and ISPSC Program Chairperson, Dr. Lanie Tiu.

The four candidates will vie for the position of Dr. Gilbert Arce, the fourth ISPSC President, who passed away last year in a car accident.

Arce died due to a vehicular accident in Ilocos Sur last June 2023.

“Get ready to discover the driving forces behind each candidate’s vision for our beloved ISPSC, as we aim to have a new leader who will inspire, guide, and elevate our academic community to new heights. The journey towards a brighter future starts with the thoughtful consideration of each candidate’s VMGOs,” ISPSC said on Facebook.

The college will conduct a public forum on February 5, 2024, at the ISPSC Gymnasium, where the candidates can present their platforms and visions for the university if they win.
