4 NEW COURSES OFFERED BY ASCOT
THE AURORA State College of Science and Technology is offering four new programs in addition to the ones it currently offer.
ASCOT said it is presently surveying among prospective enrollees on the possibility of offering the course based on their level of interest.
It added the addition of new programs is part of its commitment to deliver relevant and quality education which will be a big part in its transition to becoming a university in the future.
One of the courses is doctor of philosophy in resource management with majors in forest resource management, environment management, and agricultural resources management.
The others are bachelor of science in environmental science, bachelor of science in disaster risk reduction management, and bachelor of science in agricultural and bio-systems engineering.
The college will also start offering social studies program after the approval of the Commission on Higher Education.
The new program will be available by Academic Year 2022-2023 starting this August.
