FOUR campuses of the Cebu Technological University will soon be built in Toledo City and the towns of Pinamungajan, Asturias and Balamban.

Deputy Speaker Pablo John Garcia said that this was made possible with the approval of House Bills 9075, 9150, and 9180.

“I am overjoyed to learn that finally the creation of regular CTU Campuses in three of our towns and one city in our district have been made into law. The amount needed for their operation will be included in the national budget,” Garcia said.

He said that the creation of more campuses will make education more accessible to students who will no longer have to travel to Cebu City to study.

“We can just imagine how many families will benefit from a more accessible education for the youth,” Garcia said.

The CTU has established regular campuses in six of the third district’s seven local governments. The first two campuses are located in Barili and Tuburan.
