The recipients are Carmelo S. Cimafranca II (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), Hazel Ann S. Coringao (BS Food Technology), and Rea Mae Malazarte (BS Biology). Each scholar will receive a ₱5,000 monthly allowance and a brand-new laptop.
The scholarship, which runs from August 2025 to May 2028, covers expenses for school supplies, food, transportation, dormitory fees, uniforms, and thesis requirements.
In addition, scholars will be given internship opportunities within the Bounty Fresh Group aligned with their programs, with the possibility of employment after graduation.
The contract signing ceremony took place on August 1 at the DYDC Studio, attended by VSU officials, the scholars, and their parents.
BCFI, known for its education and community outreach initiatives, offers this program exclusively to select second- and fourth-year students in agriculture and science-related fields.
