THREE University of Santo Tomas graduates were among the top 10 passers of the recently concluded Licensure Examination for Physicians.

Edison Ong claimed the second rank with his 89.08% rating, while Vergel Enriquez registered an 87.67% score to earn sixth place.

Meanwhile, Eryll Alea clinched the eighth spot for his 87.08% rating.

“UST was likewise named the second top-performing school after notching an 84.45% passing rate, producing 56 new Thomasian doctors. The national passing rate was 55.50%,” the school said.

The Professional Regulation Commission said that 1,906 graduates out of 3,434 passed the exam.

The University of the East Memorial Medical Center was named the top-performing school with a passing rate of 89.23%.
