202CDC, ISABELA STATE U TEAM UP FOR RESERVISTS GEO-TRACKING SYSTEM
THE 202nd Community Defense Center of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army, and Isabela State University formalized a partnership aimed at modernizing reservist management with a Memorandum of Agreement signing ceremony on February 12, 2025, at the ISU San Mateo Campus.
The Tactical Assignment and Reservist Geo-Tracking System, or PROJECT TARGET, is an innovative initiative designed to enhance the tracking, profiling, and monitoring of Army reservists in Isabela.
Developed through an integrated approach, the system will function as an online Management Information System, providing real-time data on reservists in both standby and ready reserve status.
By leveraging data analytics, the program will assist decision-makers in optimizing the deployment and utilization of the reserve force across the province.
“This project is expected to address gaps and challenges in reserve force management,” said Col. Michael Aquino, Commander of the 202nd Community Defense Center, 2nd Regional Community Defense Group.
Isabela State University President Dr. Ricmar Aquino noted that the project would revolutionize how reservists are mobilized for various security and community support initiatives.
Through this pioneering collaboration, the 202CDC and ISU reaffirm their commitment to using technology to ensure that reservists are more effectively organized, deployed, and equipped to serve their communities.
