TWO UP Manila graduates topped the recent Physician Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission said on Thursday.

Justin Adriel Zent Gautier Togonon led the list of passers with a rating of 89 percent, followed by another UP Manila graduate, Francesca Marie Aby Lagrosa, who scored 88.75 percent.

The PRC said that 3,826 out of 5,958 passed the examinations held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last October.

The top performing schools are the Angeles University Foundation with a passing rate of 100%, followed by the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with 97.22 percent and St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine with a percentage of 95.74.

Also included in the top performing schools are the Cebu Institute of Medicine (95.65); UP Manila (95.65); Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (94.44); University of Cebu College of Medicine Foundation (93.84); University of Santo Tomas (90.43); West Visayas State University (89.19); and University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (87.40).
