/ 22 January 2024

TWO undergraduate programs of the University of the East-Caloocan Campus earned accreditation under the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

ACCA accredited UE’s Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting.

Pulkit Abrol of ACCA Asia Pacific presented the ACCA Certificate of Accreditation in a ceremony held earlier this month.

The five-year accreditation is valid from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2028.

It will provide students enrolled in these programs with enhanced educational experiences, and become chartered accountants with global recognition across 181 countries;

“In addition to the expedited pathway, students covered by the five-year accreditation will enjoy world-class study support and substantial pricing benefits, including significant discounts on registration and exemption fees, along with waived subscription fees until they graduate from UE Caloocan,” the school said.

“This achievement thus opens up vast opportunities for UE Caloocan’s BS Accountancy and BS Management Accounting students, making them even more sought-after locally and globally,” it added.
