TWO graduates of Silliman University were among the top 10 passers of the recently concluded Licensure Examination for Teachers.

Theresa Marie Enarle Cena got a score of 94 percent. She had the third-highest score among the examinees at the elementary level.

Meanwhile, Paltingca Nodado clinched the seventh spot for her 93.40 percent rating at the secondary level.

They led the 60 examinees from SU who passed the board examination.

The school achieved a 91.67% rating against the national passing rate of 47.01% at the elementary level; and an 80.85% rating against the national passing rate of 56.26% at the secondary level.

The PRC said 23,782 elementary teachers and 53,995 secondary teachers passed the exam held in 37 testing centers nationwide.
