Tourism Management students Janmil Tomias and Richmond Van Trinidad are among the 12 applicants from various higher education institutions in the country.
Only five were chosen.

“Ms. Em Legaspi-Ang had originally announced KPFCEA’s call for applications and also endorsed the applicants from LCC Bacolod upon favorable review of their application documents which included their academic records and a Philippine Festival Experience report,” the school said in a statement.
The selection process involved a panel interview from professors of Mokpo University in Korea and Hyogo University in Japan, and other officers of KPFCEA including its Chairman, Dr. Kim Junghwan.
The KPFCEA aims to strengthen the cultural ties between Korea and the Philippines through festival promotion.
