OVER 13,000 students took the entrance examination in the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila for the Academic Year 2021-2022.

Because of the pandemic, applicants had to take the exam online.

University President Emmanuel Leyco said that they were overwhelmed with the number of applications.

“We are humbled and grateful with the overwhelming number of applications we received for aspiring freshmen students in the upcoming academic year,” he said.

“The administration decided to mount the PLMAT online to make it accessible to more applicants despite the Covid19 quarantine restrictions,” he said.

The test results will be announced later.
