12 EVSU EMPLOYEES EXPOSED TO COVID PATIENT
TWELVE employees of the Eastern Visayas State University Carigara campus were exposed to a Covid19 patient.
All of them had to undergo RTC-PCR test and had to isolate themselves while waiting for the swab result.
Fortunately, all 12 tested negative, according to the Rural Health Unit in Carigara, Leyte.
As one of the close contacts, Dr. Herminigildo S. Badion, campus director, said that he spent his quarantine days boosting his immune system through healthy living.
“I made certain that I maintained a healthy diet and engaged in physical activities,” he said.
Badion urged the school personnel to follow health and safety procedures to avoid contracting the virus and continue to provide services to stakeholders.
“Everyone is encouraged to be physically and mentally healthy, to be safe, and to look on the bright side of any situation. Take care and stay safe, everyone,” he added.
