DWIGHT RAMOS TO MAKE B.LEAGUE DEBUT ON SATURDAY
Gilas Pilipinas ace Dwight Ramos joined Toyama Grouses' practices after clearing quarantine protocols and is set to make his B.League debut on Saturday.
Ramos was subjected to a 14-day mandatory quarantine upon his arrival in Japan, and after completing health protocols, he immediately joined Toyama’s practice on Wednesday.
“I’m finally out of quarantine. I’m really excited to join the team and practice with them, meet everybody for the first time, and just be part of the team again,” he said.
“I’m really excited for the game this weekend and hopefully, everybody can come out and see us and support us this weekend.”
Toyama lost its first four games while Ramos was out, falling twice to the Shinshu Brave Warriors before suffering back-to-back defeats to the Yokohama B-Corsairs.
Ramos’ first assignment in the B.League will be against Ray Parks Jr. as Toyama hosts Nagoya Diamond Dolphins at Toyama City Gymnasium this weekend.
