The Unibersidad de Zamboanga is looking for entries for its competition on spoken word poetry in lined with International Women’s Month.

The contestant must compose an original free-verse or rhyme poem on the theme of the National Women’s Month Celebration 2021 “Juana Laban sa Pandemya: Kaya.”

Students must film themselves reciting their spoken-word piece. They may use costumes, props, music, and visual production for your performance.

The entries can be in English, Filipino, Chavacano, or mixed verses.

Contestants must memorize the piece and deliver it within a minimum of two minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes. Deductions will be made if there will be an exceed of time.

Winners will be chosen in a first, second and third place manner. Entries of winners will be posted in the UZ SDIPS FB account, UZ Facebook page.
