TIP DECLARES ACADEMIC BREAK
THE TECHNOLOGICAL Institute of the Philippines declared a three-day academic break to give students and faculty time to recharge.
The school’s president, Dr. Elizabeth Quirino-Lahoz, said the break will be from November 3 to 5. No classes or activities will be conducted on these dates.
Classes will resume on November 6, 2020.
Quirino-Lahoz said that faculty members and students need some time off to rest and relax.
“I hope you are still remaining well and healthy. 2020 is nearing its end and it has undoubtedly been a challenging year for all of us in every aspect of our lives. While the T.I.Pian is defined by grit and determination, we are only human. We have our limits. I’m sure you have been operating near your limits for much of this year, but still, you persevere. I admire your strength to keep pushing forward despite the adversities,” Lahoz said.
“Please use this academic break to rest. Get more sleep. Regain your strength because you deserve it. Spend some time for yourself. Spend some time with your family. Engage in activities that shall lift your spirits and help you reset,” she added.
