THE SENATE Spouses Foundation, Inc. (SSFI) brought smiles and essential assistance to more than 700 students and personnel of the Philippine School for the Deaf through its “Adopt-A-Community” outreach initiative in Pasay City.

Organized in celebration of the 110th anniversary of the Philippine Senate, the event provided learners and school staff with school supplies, food packs, emergency go-bags, and other relief items to support their daily academic and personal needs.

Leading the outreach effort was SSFI President Alexandra Kyra “Lexi” Gatchalian, alongside foundation officers Ciara Sotto and Maricel Tulfo. In addition to receiving gift packages, the beneficiaries were treated to fresh meals and refreshments served from interactive food carts set up on campus.

The activity was conducted in close coordination with the Senate Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point and the Senate External Affairs and Relations Office.

Through its flagship “Adopt-A-Community” program, the SSFI remains dedicated to promoting meaningful community engagement and extending direct support to vulnerable and specialized sectors across the country.
