GLOBE POWERS UP LEARNING IN KEY CITIES WITH 5G ENERGY MISSIONS
Globe has successfully wrapped up its 5G Energy Missions, bringing next-generation broadband and mobile connectivity and learning tools to public schools in Makati, Taguig, and Pasig Cities. Backed by Ookla’s recognition for the Philippines’ widest 5G coverage, Globe demonstrated that 5G is more than just faster internet, it is a catalyst for creativity, real-time collaboration, and unlocking potential in learning and everyday life.

The program kicked off with the unveiling of the Globe 5G Energy Meter on November 17, 2025, at Uptown Mall in BGC, Taguig City, signaling the start of a series of missions designed to immerse communities in the possibilities of Globe 5G.
Participants completed five missions that showcased how 5G enhances everyday activities. Globe 5G EnergyTok invited creators to upload seamless, high-quality TikTok entries. Globe 5G Hyper Move encouraged fitness enthusiasts to contribute real-time tracked steps. Globe 5G Building Craft challenged university teams to design a 5G-powered interactive city. Globe 5G Quiz Off offered a smooth, lag-free live digital quiz experience. Globe 5GLive Streak boosted live selling engagement through rapid likes and comments made possible by fast, reliable 5G.
The combined participation across these missions enabled Globe to extend 5G-powered learning support to three beneficiary schools. This collective effort allowed Globe to donate broadband and mobile devices and connectivity tools to: Signal Village High School in Taguig on November 24, 2025, represented by Rea Millana; General Pio Del Pilar National High School in Makati on November 24, represented by Juliet H. Melo; and Rizal High School in Pasig on November 26, represented by Richard Santos Magura.
Digital devices and fast, reliable connectivity are now essential to how students learn and stay productive. To help schools tap into the benefits of next-generation technology, Globe provided each campus with 20 Xiaomi 5G smartphones and 2 Globe At Home 5G WiFi units. With 5G, students and teachers can enjoy quicker access to learning platforms, smooth video lessons, and interactive digital tools that elevate everyday learning and create a more dynamic and connected classroom environment.
At each school, Globe representatives joined the principals in welcoming students and showcasing their talents. The highlight of the day was the handover of 5G-ready devices and a hands-on showcase of Globe’s Digital Thumbprint Program, which promotes safe, responsible, and empowered online behavior. Students and teachers experienced firsthand how faster, more reliable connectivity can transform learning, collaboration, and creative exploration.
The schools shared their appreciation for Globe’s support, highlighting how the initiative equips students with the tools and connectivity to thrive in the digital era. Rea Millana of Signal Village High School noted that the program provides students opportunities to grow, create, and excel, while Juliet H. Melo and Richard Santos Magura emphasized that the devices and 5G access will help students become future-ready.
Roche Vandenberghe, Globe Chief Marketing Officer, underscored the mission’s purpose, “Every day is a chance to learn, create, and connect. With Globe 5G, students have the technology to unlock their potential and turn everyday moments into opportunities for growth.”
Darius Delgado, Globe Chief Commercial Officer, added, “Experiencing 5G firsthand through broadband and mobile is the best way to understand its value. These missions show how Globe’s network enhances daily life, inspiring more Filipinos to explore the possibilities of next-generation connectivity.”
Through the Globe 5G Energy Missions, Globe continues to bring advanced technology to communities, helping students, families, and educators experience how superior connectivity can transform learning and everyday life.
