CALOOCAN City Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan met with representatives from various youth organizations to discuss the pressing challenges faced by the city’s young people and to share ongoing and upcoming programs aimed at addressing their needs.

The dialogue, attended by members of Layag Caloocan, Kaya Natin Youth Caloocan, Kilos Ko Youth Caloocan, as well as representatives from the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and the Local Youth Development Office, served as a venue for open discussion and collaboration.

Malapitan underscored the importance of engaging youth voices in local governance.

He stressed that the youth’s insights and suggestions are vital in shaping effective and inclusive city policies.

“I am grateful to these groups for sharing their ideas in a respectful manner,” Malapitan said.

“You can be assured that I, along with the city government, will continue to listen to your concerns and aspirations for the good of the greater community,” he added.

The mayor also highlighted the city’s ongoing and future projects designed to empower young citizens, emphasizing that youth development remains a key pillar of his administration’s advocacy of #AksyonAtMalasakit.
