THE COMMISSION on Higher Education welcomed its newly appointed officials during the flag-raising ceremony on October 20, led by Chairperson Shirley C. Agrupis.

Dr. Myrna Mallari and Dr. Mich A. Ong officially began their terms as CHED Commissioners after taking their oaths before Chairperson Agrupis.

The ceremony also marked the oath-taking of Dr. Alma Patron as Director IV.

“This marks the official beginning of their term as members of the Commission, where they will contribute their expertise and leadership in advancing CHED’s policies, programs, and initiatives for higher education,” Agrupis said.

The newly sworn-in officials were joined by their families, as well as University of the Philippines President Angelo Azura Jimenez and Vice President Leo Cubilan.

“The entire CHED family congratulates and warmly welcomes the newly-appointed officials.”
