THE ATENEO de Manila University scored major victories at the Shell LiveWIRE 2025 National Competition, with two startups from the Ateneo Intellectual Property Office incubation program Blue Nest emerging as among the country’s best.

From more than 500 applicants nationwide, Greentech Ecobooster PH was named National Champion, winning ₱1 million in equity-free funding, while Pili AdheSeal Inc. took First Runner-Up, earning ₱500,000.

Greentech Ecobooster PH is pioneering turbulator technology that can reduce fuel consumption by up to 60% and cut exhaust emissions by as much as 98%.

Meanwhile, Pili AdheSeal Inc. is developing a high-performance, sustainable adhesive from pili tree sap—an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic adhesives for aerospace and other industrial applications.

“These remarkable wins highlight the strength of Ateneo’s innovation ecosystem and the dedication of our entrepreneurs in addressing pressing challenges through sustainable business solutions,” said Bryan Erfe, AIPO Business Development Officer, who has mentored the two startups for the past four to five years.
