DICT INSTALLS WIFI IN MPSU TADIAN CAMPUS

THE DEPARTMENT of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has installed Wi-Fi connectivity in the Mountain Province State University (MPSU) Tadian Campus library as part of its “Free Wi-Fi For All” program.

The MPSU Library was honored with the Services Impact Award for its exceptional contribution to improving digital accessibility and bridging the digital divide in the Cordillera region.

Additionally, the MPSU Library’s TECH4Ed Center was named 3rd Runner-Up, recognizing its valuable role in empowering communities through technology and digital learning initiatives.

Tech4Ed centers provide a wide range of services, including access to computers and the internet, digital literacy training, job search platforms, government services, and business development support.

MPSU expressed that this recognition “highlights the university’s dedication to improving digital inclusion and expanding access to technology for students, faculty, and the local community.”

The university also expressed its gratitude to DICT for the Wi-Fi installation.
