THE SUPREME Court and Bulacan State University have signed a usufruct agreement for the construction of a new Hall of Justice in Malolos City, Bulacan.

The signing took place at the SC Session Hall.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo expressed his gratitude to BulSU for allowing the use of a portion of its land for the new Hall of Justice, which will provide additional courtrooms for trial courts in Bulacan.

Court Administrator Raul Villanueva and BulSU President Teody San Andres signed the agreement on behalf of the SC and the IBP, respectively.

SC Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando, chairperson of the Oversight Committee for the General Maintenance of the Philippine Halls of Justice, was also present during the signing.
