MMSU ENHANCES LEARNING SPACES WITH ALUMNI SUPPORT

/ 21 February 2025

THE COLLEGE of Teacher Education at Mariano Marcos State University is set to improve its open learning space, thanks to a donation from the Federated Alumni Association, Inc. and the MMSU Global Association, Inc. Hawaii.

The two organizations contributed P400,000 to the project as part of the university’s initiative to create a modernized and student-friendly learning environment.

The new space aims to serve as a collaborative, comfortable, and resource-rich area where students can engage in group activities, independent study, and discussions.

According to MGA President Lawrence Patricio, the space will provide students with a conducive environment for academic work.

“We, as alumni, would like to inspire you, dear students, to take pride in the institution that has shaped who we are today,” MMSU quoted Patricio as saying.

CTE Dean Ronald Candy Lasaten expressed gratitude to the alumni, noting that the project will contribute to the development and success of MMSU students.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the university was Dr. Alegria Visaya, President of the CTE Alumni Association, along with other officers and members.
