UE STUDENTS WIN INNOLYMPICS 2025 WITH AI-ASSISTED STUDY APP
COMPUTER Engineering students from the University of the East emerged as champions in the InnOlympics 2025 competition.
Team Pandas, composed of Justin Sheen Guiriba, Andrew Emmanuel Robles, Kenny Francisco, and Zyldjan Lanticse, won for their innovative app, “GabAI: AI-Assisted Study Companion.” The app serves as a personalized learning tool that adapts to various learning styles and languages, enhancing students’ educational experiences.
The team triumphed over 29 other teams, with a total of 120 participants from different universities.
“This stellar achievement highlights the talent, creativity, and hard work of our Computer Science Warriors. Kudos and thank you, Team Pandas, for making UE proud!” the university wrote in a Facebook post.
The InnOlympics 2025, held earlier this month in Makati City, was organized by the Google Developer Student Clubs of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. The event aimed to foster innovation, challenging participants to develop tech-based solutions to real-world problems.
