USC ACHIEVES ISO 9001:2015 RENEWAL FOR STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos has successfully renewed its ISO 9001:2015 certification from the British Standards Institution, confirming that its Quality Management System (QMS) meets international standards for student welfare and development.
“This renewed recognition underscores USC’s commitment to providing relevant and transformative education aligned with global standards,” the university stated.
ISO 9001 certification is an internationally recognized mark of quality management, helping institutions improve performance and services.
USC began developing its QMS in 2012, integrating various departments to enhance processes across the entire student experience, from admission to graduation.
The university has also introduced innovative programs to address evolving educational needs, including electives in research, leadership, sports development, peer facilitation, and volunteerism.
USC originally earned its ISO 9001:2015 certification on April 1, 2022, and its renewed certification will be valid from January 5, 2025, to January 1, 2028.
