TSU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION RETAINS LEVEL IV ACCREDITATION FOR 4 PROGRAMS
THE COLLEGE of Education at Tarlac State University has retained its Level IV accreditation for four programs, awarded by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines.
CoEd is the first college at TSU to achieve and maintain Level IV “retained” status— the highest accreditation level to date.
The accredited programs include:
MA in Education (majors in Educational Management, Technology and Livelihood Education, and Mathematics)
Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED)
Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED)
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED)
The BSED program achieved the highest grand mean of 4.70, followed by the MAED and BECED with 4.60 each, and the BEED with 4.55, as presented by Office of Quality Assurance Director Dr. Niño B. Corpuz.
“We are always saying to everyone that quality is not magic, but quality already turns [out] to be part of our culture. Your award is a manifestation of how dedicated, hardworking, and committed you are in attaining what excellence and quality education is all about at TSU,” said Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Agnes M. Macaraeg.
Representing TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco, Presidential Assistant Dr. Brigido B. Corpuz expressed gratitude to the local accreditation task force for their efforts.
Meanwhile, CoEd Dean Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza urged the college community to embrace innovation and future-oriented thinking.
The Level IV “retained” accreditation is valid from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2029.
