VIVANT FOUNDATION AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO USC STUDENTS

THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos in Cebu City, in partnership with the Vivant Foundation, awarded full-tuition scholarships to deserving students.

A memorandum of agreement was recently signed to grant scholarships to third-year Accountancy students Hyacient Mae C. Concha and Maxiel Louise Menchavez.

Representing the Vivant Foundation were Executive Director Shem Jose Garcia, Assistant Vice President of the People Function Department Denise Blanco, and Assistant Vice President of the Accounting Department Dyan Olegario. USC was represented by Assistant Director of the Office of Alumni, Scholarships, and Job Placement, Ar. Margret D. Rosario, and Fe Salva.

Additionally, the foundation awarded scholarships to first-year Engineering students Analie Pedrano (Computer Engineering) and Kristil JB Yumol (Chemical Engineering).

The Vivant Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Vivant Group, continues to support education through scholarships and by providing solar equipment to public schools.
