USC ALUMNI NAMED TO ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING BOARD

THE OFFICE of the President of the Philippines appointed two alumni of the University of San Carlos in Cebu City to the Professional Regulatory Board.

Commodore Vicente Cejoco was selected as chairperson of the PRC for Electronics Engineering, with Engr. Adonis Talabo joining as a member.

Cejoco, a former officer in the Philippine Navy, initially studied Electronics and Communications Engineering before shifting to military service, graduating from the Philippine Military Academy in 1982.

He has extensive engineering expertise, holding master’s degrees in electronics and electronic warfare, and led key projects in ICT infrastructure and maritime surveillance within the military.

Talabo, a Professional Electronics Engineer with over 25 years of experience, has worked across both private and public sectors, managing large-scale engineering projects.

He serves on the Board of Regents at Southern Leyte State University and is known for authoring the proposed CCTV Code of the Philippines.
