SOLON SEEKS FOR COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION EDUCATION PROGRAM
1PACMAN Party-list Rep. Michael Romero is pushing for a measure providing for a comprehensive National Assessment and Evaluation Education program.
Romero’s House Bill 10582, or the proposed National Assessment and Evaluation Education Program of 2024, aims to foster quality and accessible education for all.
The measure also sets a manifestation to the freedom of education to be accorded due respect and be allowed to flourish.
The bill seeks to foster the education sector to provide the school age population and young adults with skills, knowledge, and values to become caring, self-reliant, productive and patriotic citizens.
The solon stressed that the state is mandated to instill the policy and principle for the governance of education to be translated into programs, projects, and services developed, adapted and offered to fit local needs.
Under the measure, there will be an exclusive fund to be used for the national assessment and evaluation education Program and will be administered by the Education Secretary.
