MARCOS URGES STAKEHOLDERS TO SUPPORT ARAL LAW
PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged stakeholders to support the newly signed Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Law.
“The success of the ARAL Program hinges upon the active participation of teachers, tutors, parents, guardians, local government units, national government agencies, and, of course, the private sector,” Marcos said in his speech during the law’s signing.
The ARAL law aims to establish a national learning intervention program designed to help struggling learners catch up with the required standards for their grade levels.
The President also encouraged teachers and program tutors to approach students with understanding and guide them with compassion.
Moreover, Marcos emphasized that the role of teachers and program tutors is not only to educate learners but also to innovate and inspire.
“To parents and guardians, I encourage you to maintain open lines of communication with your children’s tutors. Monitor your child’s progress and extend to them the support they need to succeed in life,” Marcos said.
“To our LGUs, I call on you to help cultivate a safe and conducive environment for in-person tutorials. Collaborate with the national government in promoting this program by engaging potential tutors, referring qualified candidates, and motivating parents to involve their children in this endeavor,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive called on children and the youth to take advantage of the program to pursue their aspirations and ambitions.
