CAMPUS JOURNALIST INSPIRES FELLOW WRITERS

/ 14 July 2024

A STUDENT encouraged his fellow campus journalists to continue to write and be an eye-opener to the public, especially to their fellow students.

James Gabriel Regondola, the student, shared this statement as he returned to competing in the National Schools Press Conference again after six years.

In 2018, he participated for the first time in the NSPC in Dumaguete City and became the champion in Feature Writing in elementary.

Since then, it has been one of his dreams to reach the national competition again.

Although his journey to NSPC was “long and difficult,” he said he was not afraid to try again.

“And big thanks po to my school paper advisers who paved the way for me to keep on going. Sila po ang unang naka-discover ng potential ko sa Campus Journalism as a writer kaya nagpapatuloy po ako dahil patuloy silang naniniwala sa akin na kayang-kaya ko,” he added.

Regondola was also the Most Outstanding Campus Journalist of Camarines Norte.

He also encouraged his fellow campus journalists to continue doing their craft to achieve their dreams.
