THE Department of Education has warned the public against posts circulating online about scholarships, saying that it was fake.

DepEd said that these posts are illegally using the DepEd seal and the photo of the Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio to scam people.

The agency advised the parents and guardians not to give out their children’s school information and identification to such kinds of hideous posts for their security.

DepEd also reminded the public to stay vigilant against misinformation.

It also advised the public to report any misleading and suspicious information about basic education to [email protected].
