DE LA SALLE University Professor and Fellow Dr. Anthony SF Chiu’s co-authored article titled ‘Country-specific net-zero strategies of the pulp and paper industry,’ was accepted and published in the prestigious multidisciplinary journal, Nature.

Dr. Chiu’s paper was focused on the comprehensive assessment of greenhouse gases emissions of the paper-related sectors and exploring mitigation strategies for it.

According to the NCRP Research Journal, the publication of the paper is an essential step towards reducing the impacts of the paper industry on the environment.

“This publication in Nature is a significant step towards promoting sustainable practices and reducing the environmental impact of the pulp and paper industry,” NCRP said.

Nature is the top-ranked multidisciplinary journal achieving an impact factor of 64.8 in 2022.
