/ 16 November 2023

A TEAM of officials from the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management of the Far Eastern University recently visited a school in Thailand to expand partnership and explore new opportunities for students.

The group was composed of Associate Department Chair Carolina Roces and Associate Department Chair–HRM Dr. Mark Lixcel Lantican.

The FEU officials met with the faculty members of Hospitality and Tourism at the Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus.

Roces and Lantican shared their insights on leadership, global citizenship, service mind, and identity.

They also conducted ocular inspections at Graceland Khaolak Resort and Spa in Phuket and Pimalai Resort and Spa in Krabi.

“The two establishments are their new partners for internship. They checked how the operations work and the accommodation that the students will be staying for 4 to 5 months,” FEU said.

Roces and Lantican also met with the representatives of Novotel Avista-Kata for future training partnership.

“This productive visit is just one of the internationalization initiatives of ITHM to provide more opportunities for their students,” the school said.
