THE DEPARTMENT of Labor and Employment has made it easier to access two free courses being offered by the Labor and Employment Education Services e-Learning Portal.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said the Bureau of Labor Relations has institutionalized its online portal which offers two courses — Basic Labor and Employment Education Course and Comprehensive Course on Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining.

The BLR aims to equip workers and employers with labor information to become better partners maintaining harmonious labor-management relationships.

The Basic Labor and Employment Education Course covers topics on pre-employment, employment, and post-employment, as well as the processes involved in entrepreneurship and professional practice.

The Comprehensive Course on Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining aims to enhance the capacity of multisectoral stakeholders to promote effective implementation of Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining principles in the Philippines.

Interested students may visit http://lees.dole.gov.ph/moodle. Applicants shall take quizzes to receive a certificate of completion.
