CATANDUANES State University signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere International to implement a project that will provide sustainable livelihood for Catandunganon women.

The collaboration was signed by CatSU President Patrick Alain Azanza and CARE’s Asia Regional Director Dr. Musa Muhammad.

The Women and Youth Economic Empowerment Project will cover the municipalities of Bato and Virac.

Under the agreement, the project will focus on two commodities — abaca and root crops.

Four villages in each municipality will benefit from it.
