AN OFFICIAL of the Department of Education visited EMBO schools on August 29, the opening of School Year 2023-2024.

Assistant Secretary for Field Operations Francis Bringas first went to the Fort Magsaysay Elementary and High School♡ before dropping by the Makati Science High School.

He visited the schools in the 10 EMBO villages.

Bringas said that each classroom had the right number of students.

There are 30,000 students in EMBO barangays, which is now under the jurisdiction of the city of Taguig.

Meanwhile, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan visited Legarda Elementary School on the first day of classes.

She was joined by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Melody Cruz, ASDS Dr. Angelita Cornejo and Legarda Elementary School Principal Edita Lopez.

The city government gave all public school students from Kinder to Grade 2 a school kit which consists of a bag, notebooks, notepads, t-shirt and jogging pants; while those in Grade 3 to 12 received notebooks, notepads, t-shirt and jogging pants.
